Australia has a special Overseas Student Program which allows international students to undertake full time studies in a registered course offered by an Australian education provider.

Below is a list of student visas currently available:

Independent ELICOS (Subclass 570) - for applicants wanting to complete an English language course.
Schools (Subclass 571) - for applicants wanting to complete a course of study at a primary or secondary school.
Vocational Education and Training (Subclass 572)- for applicants wanting to study a Certificate I,II,III or IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Advanced Certificates.
Higher Education (Subclass 573)- for applicants wanting to study a Bachelor Degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework.
Post Graduate Research (Subclass 574) - Masters and Doctorate Sector.
Non Award Sector Visa (Subclass 575)
Foreign Affairs or Defence (Subclass 576) - for AusAID or Defence -sponsored students.
